Barry Manilow, nato Barry Alan Pincus il 17 giugno 1943 a Brooklyn, New York, è un cantautore e musicista statunitense di fama internazionale. Iniziò la sua carriera come pianista e arrangiatore per artisti come Bette Midler, prima di emergere come solista negli anni '70 con successi come "Could It Be Magic", "Mandy" e "I Write the Songs". Manilow è noto per il suo stile vocale melodico e le sue canzoni romantiche che hanno conquistato un vasto pubblico. Ha venduto oltre 80 milioni di dischi in tutto il mondo, ottenendo numerosi riconoscimenti tra cui Grammy Awards e American Music Awards.
