I know your story morning glory life was swinging, everything was groovy
Your future bright, love and light, then winter hit like a cyclone through me
You bowed and disappeared waiting for the axe to fall
As loud as we all cheered you never took the curtain call
Dolly back, fade to black don't want to say it, but I've seen this movie
Yeah, yeah she walks with the angels tonight, in diamond shoes
She talks to strangers she might, they can't refuse
Juke box in the dance halls ignite she lights the fuse
She walks with the angels
She walks with angels
Came the day the floor gave way said you're standing in the firing line
Rockets falling battle calling "no shelter" said the warning sign
I know we played it down, claiming you were bulletproof
You wore it like a crown, shouting secrets from the roof
Give all I have to hear you laugh at your own jokes Sunny one last time
Yeah, yeah she walks with the angels tonight, in diamond shoes
She talks to strangers she might, they can't refuse
Juke box in the dance halls ignite she lights the fuse
She walks with the angels
She walks with the angels
One week out of Providence, you finally got the call
We used to joke about the joys of Propofol
I said goodbye and then I waited in the hall
God knows I have to start learning how to crawl
She walks with the angels, I know it's true
She walks with the angels I see her too
She walks with the angels of my sacrifice
She walks with the angels into the afterlife
She walks with the angels tonight, in diamond shoes
She talks to strangers she might, they can't refuse
Juke box in the dance halls ignite she lights the fuse
She walks with the angels
She walks with the angels
Yeah yeah
She walks with the angels
Yeah yeah
She walks with the angels
Yeah yeah
She walks with the angels
She walks with the angels
