MGMT (pronunciato ufficialmente em-gee-em-tee ma spesso erroneamente come 'Management') è un duo musicale americano formato da Ben Goldwasser e Andrew VanWyngarden, originario di Brooklyn, New York. Il gruppo si è formato all'università Wesleyan e dopo essere stati inizialmente con Cantora Records, nel 2006 hanno firmato con Columbia Records e Red Ink. MGMT è noto per il suo sound psichedelico pop che fonde elementi indie rock, synth-pop e musica elettronica. Il loro album di debutto, *Oracular Spectacular*, del 2007, ha riscosso un enorme successo internazionale grazie a brani come «Kids» e «Time to Pretend», diventando un classico dell'epoca. Il secondo album, *Congratulations* (2010), ha esplorato sonorità più sperimentali e mature, mentre il terzo, *MGMT* (2013), ha segnato una svolta verso un sound più elettronico. Il loro ultimo lavoro in studio, *Little Dark Age*, è uscito nel 2018. Oltre ai brani citati, tra le canzoni più rappresentative di MGMT figurano «Electric Feel» e «When You Die».
