Xandria è una band metal sinfonico tedesca formatasi a Bielefeld nel 1997. Il loro sound, caratterizzato da melodie orecchiabili e un mix di heavy metal con elementi classici e gothic, ha conquistato un seguito internazionale. La formazione originale comprendeva la cantante Dianne van Giersbergen (conosciuta anche per il suo lavoro con After Forever), il chitarrista Marco Heubaum e il bassista Steven Wussow. Nel corso degli anni, Xandria ha attraversato diverse fasi stilistiche, passando da sonorità più dark a un approccio più epico e melodico.
