Backstage, starting to feel the nerves
Just wanna give the crowd what they deserve
A good show, front row to the back
Make em feel my energy, make em remember me
That's the only thing on my mind
I mean, that plus have a good time
Yeah, and bring a smile to their face
So I take a deep breath, as I run upon the stage like
Showtime, mic's on, light's on
Music sounding good, everything is perfect
And so I figured I would get the crowd involved
So I go, make some noise, but nobody responds
It's like they all on mute, all through out the song
Now I can't be that bad, what am I doing wrong
Insecure, but still I carry on
I don't ask for much, but I wish y'all would just
(Show some love)
When you see me with a mic on stage
All pumped going at it, don't hate just
(Show some love)
And even if my music ain't for you
Look past that, respect what I do just
(Show some love)
Don't be so quick to knock
Give me a chance, let me show you what I got
(Show some love)
So let me know if you feel me
Put your hands up and say it with me
Show some love
To the haters I proudly dedicate this verse
You can say what you want, but can't quench my thirst
You too sweet, reminding of flat chested girls
Call me diabetes cause I'm every sugarboy's curse
So when I'm on stage and let the words hit the crowd
They feel the realness and can tell I ain't foul
I like to tell myself that they stunned and amazed
That's wy they lookin to the blue like the sky is on stage
But y'all love it, can tell from the smiles making wrinkles
The blink I their eyes, and them eyelids that twinkle
We be the ones proving, understand that you jealous
In this new movement, we be the propellers
Cause we keep shit moving and we spinning it round
Here to make good music and you feeling the sound
So tell me who's the best to rock this mike
Nico G and Vinzy V, yo we rock so tight
(Show some love)
When you see me with a mic on stage
All pumped going at it, don't hate just
(Show some love)
And even if my music ain't for you
Look past that, respect what I do just
(Show some love)
Don't be so quick to knock
Give me a chance, let me show you what I got
(Show some love)
So let me know if you feel me
Put your hands up and say it with me
Show some love
Okay, now we not sayin'
That we expect y'all to go crazy or loose your minds or nothing
But just give us a sign
You know, smile a little, bounce your heads
People, basically what I'm sayin' is
While we stand on stage and rap for you
All we want is for you to just
(Show some love)
When you see me with a mic on stage
All pumped going at it, don't hate just
(Show some love)
And even if my music ain't for you
Look past that, respect what I do just
(Show some love)
Don't be so quick to knock
Give me a chance, let me show you what I got
(Show some love)
So let me know if you feel me
Put your hands up and say it with me
Show some love
(Show some love)
When you see me with a mic on stage
All pumped going at it, don't hate just
(Show some love)
And even if my music ain't for you
Look past that, respect what I do just
(Show some love)
Don't be so quick to knock
Give me a chance, let me show you what I got
(Show some love)
So let me know if you feel me
Put your hands up and say it with me
Show some love
