Oceansize è un gruppo rock britannico formatosi a Manchester nel 1998. Il quintetto è composto da Mike Vennart (voce, chitarra), Steve Durose (chitarra, cori), Richard "Gambler" Ingram (chitarra, tastiere), Mark Heron (batteria) e Steve Hodson (basso). La band ha pubblicato tre album in studio, oltre a diversi EP e singoli. Lo stile musicale di Oceansize è definibile come una fusione di progressive rock, post-rock, alternative rock e space rock. Tra i brani più rappresentativi si ricordano "The Colour of the Flame", "A Perfect Day to Die" e "This Is How We Live". L'album di debutto, "Effloresce", risale al 2001.
