New Order è un gruppo musicale britannico di genere synth-pop e post-punk, formatosi a Manchester nel 1980 dalle ceneri dei Joy Division dopo il suicidio del cantante Ian Curtis. Il gruppo ha subito una trasformazione sonora significativa rispetto ai Joy Division, abbracciando sonorità più elettroniche e dance. Tra i membri fondatori troviamo Bernard Sumner (voce, chitarra), Peter Hook (basso) e Stephen Morris (batteria). Nel corso degli anni hanno collaborato con diversi musicisti, tra cui Gillian Gilbert (tastiere, cori). New Order ha raggiunto un grande successo internazionale negli anni '80 e '90 con album come *Power, Corruption and Lies* (1983), *Technique* (1989) e *Republic* (1993). I loro brani più rappresentativi includono "Blue Monday", "Bizarre Love Triangle", "True Faith" e "Temptation".
