Shadows Fall è una band americana di heavy metal originaria di Springfield, Massachusetts, formatasi nel 1996. Considerati uno dei pilastri della New Wave of American Heavy Metal, hanno raggiunto un'ampia popolarità negli anni 2000 grazie a album come "The Art of Balance" (2002) e "Threads of Life" (2004). Il loro sound si caratterizza per riff pesanti, melodie orecchiabili e testi che affrontano temi di lotta interiore, disillusione e speranza.
