Scott Richard Weiland (nato Scott Richard Kline, 27 ottobre 1967 – 3 dicembre 2015) è stato un cantautore e musicista statunitense. Noto per il suo stile vocale potente e caratteristico, Weiland ha raggiunto la fama internazionale come frontman dei Stone Temple Pilots, rock band attiva dal 1989 al 2013. Con i STP, ha ottenuto due Grammy Awards e ha contribuito a definire l'hard rock degli anni '90 con album di successo come *Core* (1992) e *Purple* (1994). Nel 2002, dopo la rottura dei Stone Temple Pilots, Weiland ha formato il supergruppo Velvet Revolver con membri ex Guns N' Roses.
