Met you at the Sav-on,
Really never met you at all.
I was there to pick up pills you were passing there in the aisle.
Went home and wrote these words you'll never hear.
Then walked right back the next day, to see if you were there.
Damn girl I got to keep on digging just so we can breathe.
Stay awake, will we be found?
I know we're way too late.
Just how far to the other side, as blind as I could be.
To look at your new mountain, or the sandbox by your tree.
Got your name from Flaco.
Got a lucky break.
Sophie was a guy's girl.
Looked like a princess but didn't feel that great.
To walk back doing time for someone else. But then it never came.
Damn girl I got to keep on digging just so we can breathe.
Stay awake, will we be found?
I know we're way too late.
Just how far to the other side, as blind as I could be.
To look at your new mountain or the sandbox by your tree.
Sometimes white on Sundays, sometimes chicken soup.
Juana said she met a boy.
Sounded like she was leaving for somewhere.
Turned up for nowhere.
Saying she was open to meet you too.
But I thought you were going away to meet someone new.
Damn girl I got to keep on digging just so we can breathe.
Stay awake, will we be found?
I know we're way too late.
Just how far to the other side, as blind as I could be.
To look at your new mountain or the sandbox by your tree.
Damn girl I got to keep on digging just so we can breathe.
Stay awake, will we be found?
I know we're way too late.
Just how far to the other side, as blind as I could be.
To look at your new mountain or the sandbox by your tree.
Damn girl I got to keep on digging just so we can breathe.
Stay awake, will we be found?
I know we're way too late.
Just how far to the other side, as blind as I could be.
To look at your new mountain or the sandbox by your tree
