Pierce the Veil è una band post-hardcore sperimentale proveniente da San Diego, in California. Originariamente conosciuta come Before Today, la band ha debuttato nel 2006 con l'EP "The Burning Pines". Il loro stile musicale si caratterizza per un mix di melodie melodiche e riff pesanti, influenzati dal metalcore, dall'emo e dalla musica elettronica. Tra i brani più noti figurano "King for a Day", "Bullet to the Head" e "Stay Away From Me". Il loro album di debutto, "A Flair for the Dramatic", è stato un successo critico e commerciale, consolidando la loro posizione nel panorama musicale underground. Pierce the Veil ha collaborato con artisti come Bring Me The Horizon e Black Veil Brides. La band continua ad essere attiva, pubblicando nuovi album e tournèe in tutto il mondo.
