Tower of Power è un gruppo musicale statunitense di genere funk e soul, originario della California. Attivo dal 1968, il gruppo ha raggiunto il successo commerciale negli anni '70 con brani come "What Is Hip?" e "You're Still a Young Man". Conosciuti per le loro performance energiche e la sezione ritmica potente, Tower of Power è stato una band di supporto per numerosi artisti rock e pop di fama mondiale, collaborando con nomi come Elton John, Santana e The Rolling Stones. La loro influenza sul genere funk è stata significativa, contribuendo a definire il sound caratteristico degli anni '70. Tra i loro album più importanti si annovera "Tower of Power" (1970) e "Back to Oakland" (1973).
