Gli Easybeats sono stati una delle band rock australiane più influenti degli anni '60. Formatisi a Sydney nel 1964, il gruppo era composto da Stevie Wright (voce), George Young (chitarra), Harry Vanda (batteria) e Tony Cahill (basso). Conosciuti per il loro sound potente e orecchiabile, hanno raggiunto il successo internazionale con brani come "Friday on My Mind", diventato un classico del rock. La band ha pubblicato diversi album di successo, tra cui "Easybeats" (1965) e "The Easybeats' Greatest Hits" (1967). Gli Easybeats sono stati pionieri del movimento rock australiano, influenzando generazioni di musicisti.
