(Al Geno on the track)
(Ayy bro, is that Jambo?)
Believe thyself, they standin' on lies
And, they always askin' me, "Why?"
I won't let no one love me, I'm fine
That Lambo' low to the ground, my head high
And, they always askin' us, "Why?"
We post on that block and don't hide
When we know there is chances of dyin'
When we know that we facin' jail time
Bullets fly like Delta, take a nigga spirit
Ayy, all this jewelry on, I brought my lawyer with me (Yeah)
Soon I told 'em, "No," them niggas went to dissin' (Yeah)
Only thing that show me, th?y was never with me (Y?ah)
Ayy, problems in my cup, I mix the soda with it (Yeah)
Had to stop giving my trust, I barely know these bitches (I barely know 'em)
She took too many pictures first time I flew her out
She won't see me again 'cause I see what this all about
What happened to the real niggas? Like this shit a drought
The fakest in, they played to win, they lost
I'm young, not convinced, I need a ten to talk
A fifty to see me, ain't talkin' 'bout Titans, you dig?
Black card, it remind me niggas got life in the pen'
My daddy taught me two things, don't follow the hype or the trend
So they gon' die tryna be somethin' they ain't
I made a call after I poured a pint
I talk to God, but, I didn't complain at all 'cause it get worse
Skippin' school, now them boys tryna get home with the work
Long as they riskin' it, they givin' it, they take this hard to go
I knew that they would change, but, I didn't see my homies foldin'
I got so damn rich that I can burn what they owe me
I got so damn lit that they gon' burn me if they can
Standin' in the rain with a gun in my hand
With a bulletproof umbrella, I wonder why these niggas
Believe thyself, they standin' on lies
And, they always askin' me, "Why?"
I won't let no one love me, I'm fine
That Lambo' low to the ground, my head high
And, they always askin' us, "Why?"
We post on that block and don't hide
When we know there is chances of dyin'
When we know that we facin' jail time
Yeah, yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah
I talk to God, but, I didn't complain at all 'cause it get worse
Skippin' school, now them boys tryna get home with the work
Long as they riskin' it, they givin' it, they take this hard to go
I knew that they would change, but, I didn't see my homies foldin'
I got so damn rich that I can burn what they owe me
I got so damn lit that they gon' burn me if they can
Standin' in the rain with a gun in my hand
With a bulletproof umbrella, I wonder why these niggas
Believe thyself, they standin' on lies
Oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh
Oh, oh, oh (Yeah, yeah)
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
