The Virus è un gruppo musicale attivo negli anni '80. Il loro genere musicale si colloca nell'ambito del punk rock con influenze hardcore. Nonostante non abbiano raggiunto una grande notorietà commerciale, The Virus hanno avuto un seguito fedele all'interno della scena underground punk britannica. I loro album più noti includono "Singles and Rarities", "Still Fighting for a Future" e "Nowhere to Hide". Il gruppo è noto per le sue performance energiche e i testi politici che affrontavano temi come la disoccupazione, l'oppressione sociale e la lotta contro il sistema.
