Attivo dal 2006, ha raggiunto la popolarità con il suo stile musicale che fonde elementi di rock alternativo, emo e hip hop. Conosciuto per le sue melodie orecchiabili e testi introspettivi, Mod Sun ha collaborato con artisti come Avril Lavigne, Machine Gun Kelly e Blackbear.
