Watain è un gruppo musicale black metal svedese formatosi ad Uppsala nel 1998. Considerati uno dei gruppi più influenti del genere, Watain sono noti per il loro sound oscuro e aggressivo, le performance teatrali e i testi blasfemi che affrontano temi come la natura demoniaca dell'uomo, l'oscurità interiore e la ribellione contro le convenzioni sociali.
