Suicidal Tendencies sono una band di heavy metal statunitense formatasi a Venice, California, nel 1982. L'unica figura costante nella formazione è il cantante e principale autore dei testi Mike Muir. La loro musica, caratterizzata da un ritmo frenetico e influenze punk, thrash metal e hardcore, ha contribuito a definire lo stile crossover thrash. Tra i brani più rappresentativi figurano "Institutionalized", "Possessed to Skate" e "Cyco Miko". L'album di debutto omonimo del 1983 è considerato un classico del genere. Suicidal Tendencies hanno collaborato con artisti come Slayer, Anthrax e Fear Factory, influenzando generazioni di musicisti heavy metal.
