MxPx è una band punk rock formatasi nel 1992 a Bremerton, Washington. Il trio composto da Mike Herrera (voce e chitarra), Yuri Ruley (chitarra) e Andy Husted (batteria) iniziò la sua carriera durante il liceo. La band venne notata da Tooth and Nail Records e pubblicò il suo album di debutto, *Pokinatcha*, nel 1994. MxPx ha raggiunto un grande successo negli anni '90 e 2000 con un sound pop-punk energico e melodico. Tra i loro brani più famosi figurano "Chick Magnet", "Responsibility" e "The Maxx". L'album *Before the Bombs Drop* del 1998 è considerato uno dei loro lavori più importanti.
