Nydvind è un gruppo musicale formatosi nel 2000. Il loro genere musicale si colloca nell'ambito del black metal atmosferico, caratterizzato da atmosfere cupe e melodie malinconiche. L'unico album in studio rilasciato finora è *Eternal Winter Domain*, uscito nel 2003. Nydvind ha partecipato a diversi festival underground di musica metal europea, guadagnandosi una solida fanbase tra gli appassionati del genere. Sebbene non abbiano raggiunto la fama mainstream, il gruppo è considerato un'importante realtà nell'underground black metal europeo per la sua atmosfera evocativa e le composizioni musicali complesse.
