The Hives sono una band rock svedese formatasi a Fagersta nel 1993. Composta da cinque membri, tra cui i fratelli Pelle Almqvist (voce) e Nicholaus Arson (chitarra), la band ha guadagnato fama internazionale per il loro sound garage punk energico e le performance dal vivo coinvolgenti. Il loro album di debutto, "Veni Vidi Vicious", uscito nel 1997, è stato un successo in Europa, aprendo le porte a una carriera internazionale. Tra i brani più noti si ricordano "Hate to Say I Told You So", "Walk Idiot Walk" e "Main Offender".
