Scar Symmetry è una band di melodic death metal svedese formatasi nel 2004 a Stoccolma. Il gruppo, noto per la sua musica complessa e melodica con influenze progressive, ha pubblicato sette album in studio fino ad oggi. Il sound di Scar Symmetry si caratterizza per riff veloci e aggressivi, melodie orecchiabili e un uso innovativo di tastiere e cori. Tra i brani più rappresentativi figurano "The Unseen", "Black Noise" e "Dance of Death". L'album di debutto "Dark Matter Dimensions" (2005) ha segnato l'inizio della loro ascesa nel panorama metal europeo, seguito da album come "Symmetry Divine: Origin" (2008) e "The Singularity" (2013). La band ha collaborato con artisti come Arch Enemy e Soilwork.
