Foxygen è un duo indie rock statunitense formatosi a Westlake Village, in California, nel 2005. Il gruppo è composto da Sam France (voce, chitarra) e Jonathan Rado (chitarra, tastiere, batteria). Foxygen è noto per il suo sound psichedelico e sperimentale, che fonde elementi di rock classico, pop, folk e jazz. La loro musica è caratterizzata da arrangiamenti complessi, testi surreali e un'atmosfera onirica. Dopo aver pubblicato diversi EP indipendenti, Foxygen ha debuttato con l'album "We Are the 21st Century Ambassadors of Peace and Magic" nel 2014, che è stato accolto da una grande critica internazionale. L'album successivo, "...And Star Power", del 2017, ha consolidato il successo del duo e ha visto la partecipazione di collaborazioni importanti come Beck e Ariel Pink. Foxygen è considerato uno dei gruppi indie rock più innovativi e influenti degli ultimi anni. I loro brani più rappresentativi includono "San Francisco", "Rise Up" e "On Lankershim Blvd.".
