We the Kings sono una rock band pop americana proveniente da Bradenton, in Florida. Attivi dal 2007, il gruppo è attualmente sotto contratto con la S-Curve Records. Il loro album di debutto omonimo ha raggiunto la posizione numero 151 della Billboard 200 nel 2007. Nel 2009 hanno pubblicato il secondo album in studio, *Smile Kid*. Oltre a diversi tour nazionali ed internazionali, We the Kings hanno anche prodotto una serie webisodica intitolata *The King's Carriage*, che documenta la vita sul loro bus turistico. Il frontman Travis Clark ha espresso l'idea di pubblicare un album acustico come prossimo progetto discografico. Il nome del gruppo deriva dal nome della scuola media frequentata dai membri, King Middle School. Tra le canzoni più popolari figurano *Check Yes Juliet* e *Skyway Avenue*.
