Exodus è una storica band di thrash metal statunitense, attiva dal 1979. Originari di San Francisco, California, sono considerati uno dei pilastri del genere thrash metal insieme a Metallica, Slayer e Megadeth. Conosciuti per il loro sound aggressivo, le performance frenetiche e testi spesso politici o sociali, Exodus ha influenzato innumerevoli band metal nel corso degli anni. Tra i brani più rappresentativi figurano "Bonded by Blood", "Strike Every Chord" e "Pleasures of the Flesh". L'album di debutto "Bonded by Blood" (1985) è considerato un classico del genere thrash metal, mentre "Fabulous Disaster" (1987) ha consolidato il loro successo. La band ha attraversato diverse fasi di cambiamenti nel roster, ma la figura centrale rimane quella del chitarrista Gary Holt, presente fin dalla formazione. Exodus continua ad essere attiva e a registrare nuovi album, mantenendo un posto di rilievo nella scena metal mondiale.
