Nattvindens Grat è stato un gruppo musicale finlandese attivo tra il 1994 e il 1996. Il gruppo era composto da Sami Vanska (chitarra), Tuomas Holopainen (tastiere) e Teemu Kautonen (batteria). Nattvindens Grat ha pubblicato due album: *Chaos Without Theory* (1994) e *A Bard's Tale* (1996). Holopainen, in seguito famoso per essere il fondatore e compositore principale del gruppo symphonic metal Nightwish, ha contribuito a definire lo stile musicale di Nattvindens Grat, caratterizzato da atmosfere dark e melodie progressive. I brani più rappresentativi includono "The Bard's Tale", "Chaos Without Theory" e "Whispers of the Wind".
