Little Brother è un gruppo hip hop americano proveniente da Durham, North Carolina. Il duo è composto dai rapper Phonte e Rapper Big Pooh, con il produttore 9th Wonder che ha fatto parte del gruppo fin dalla sua nascita ma si è separato prima della registrazione dell'album *Getback*. Il loro album di debutto, *The Listening* (2003), ha ricevuto un grande successo di critica. Seguito dal mixtape *The Chitlin Circuit 1.5* nel 2005 e dal secondo album del gruppo, *The Minstrel Show*, anch'esso pubblicato nel 2005, che ha ottenuto recensioni positive da riviste come XXL (che gli ha assegnato un "XL") e The Source (4.5 Mics). Il gruppo si esibisce frequentemente in tour con il loro DJ ufficiale, Flash. Phonte, in un'intervista a MVRemix.com, ha spiegato l'origine del nome del gruppo: «Tribe, De La, P.E....erano come i nostri grandi fratelli nel gioco, quindi ora siamo i piccoli fratelli di quel movimento...continuando la tradizione della buona musica».
