The Acacia Strain sono una band metalcore formatasi a Chicopee, Massachusetts, nel 2001. Considerati uno dei pilastri del genere, la band è nota per il suo sound aggressivo e pesante, caratterizzato da riff distorti, blast beat veloci e growl gutturali. Vincent Bennet è l'unico membro originale ancora presente nella formazione attuale. Nel corso della sua carriera, The Acacia Strain ha pubblicato nove album in studio, tra cui "Wormwood" (2006), "The Dead Walk" (2010) e "Death Is the Only Mortal Thing" (2018), un album dal vivo, diversi EP e due split album.
