Unkle è un gruppo musicale britannico formatosi nel 1994 da James Lavelle e Tim Goldsworthy, amici fin dall'infanzia. Inizialmente classificato come trip-hop, il gruppo ha visto tra i suoi membri anche il produttore DJ Shadow e ha collaborato con una vasta gamma di artisti e produttori ospiti. Unkle è noto per la sua musica elettronica sperimentale che fonde elementi di hip hop, jazz, soul e ambient. Il loro sound caratteristico è caratterizzato da atmosfere cupe e introspettive, ritmi sincopati e campionamenti creativi. Tra i brani più rappresentativi si ricordano "Cowboys", "Burn My Eyes" e "Rabbit Hole". L'album di debutto del gruppo, *Psyence Fiction*, pubblicato nel 1998, è considerato un classico del trip-hop e ha contribuito a definire il sound della scena musicale britannica degli anni '90.
