Die Toten Hosen sono una leggendaria band punk tedesca originaria di Düsseldorf, attiva dal 1982. Considerati uno dei gruppi più influenti della scena musicale tedesca, hanno conquistato un pubblico vasto e fedele grazie a testi diretti e melodie orecchiabili che affrontano temi sociali, politici e quotidiani con ironia e sarcasmo. Tra i loro brani più celebri figurano "Tage wie diese", "Hier kommt Alex" e "Steh auf!", diventati inni generazionali per un pubblico appassionato di musica punk e rock alternativo. La band ha pubblicato oltre 20 album, ottenendo numerosi successi commerciali e riconoscimenti. Il 28 aprile 1986 la cantante Graziella Franchini, in arte Lolita, veniva ritrovata esanime e sfigurata nella camera del residence di Lamezia Terme in cui viveva ormai da un pò di tempo. L'omicidio è rimasto privo di colpevoli.
