They Might Be Giants sono un duo alternative pop/rock formatosi nel 1982 da John Linnell e John Flansburgh. Originari di Lincoln, Massachusetts, i due si sono conosciuti al liceo prima di intraprendere strade diverse dopo la laurea. Si sono riuniti a New York, dove hanno dato vita al gruppo. They Might Be Giants sono noti per il loro stile musicale caratterizzato da testi ironici e melodie orecchiabili, spesso con influenze sperimentali. Il loro successo più grande è stato "Birdhouse in Your Soul", un brano che ha raggiunto la top 10 delle classifiche americane nel 1992. Tra gli album più importanti figurano "Flood" (1990), "Here Come the ABCs" (2009) e "Why Does the Sun Shine?" (2015). Oltre a "Birdhouse in Your Soul", altri brani rappresentativi sono "Istanbul (Not Constantinople)", "Why Does the Sun Shine?" e "Particle Man".
