Nokturnal Mortum è un gruppo musicale ucraino di black metal attivo dal 1994. Considerati uno dei pionieri del genere in Ucraina, hanno contribuito a definire il sound dark e atmosferico tipico della scena post-sovietica. La loro musica si caratterizza per l'utilizzo di strumenti tradizionali ucraini come la bandura, oltre alle chitarre distorte e alla batteria blast beat. Tra i brani più rappresentativi figurano "Veles" e "The Black Sun", mentre tra gli album degni di nota ricordiamo "Moon of the Wolf" (1998) e "Outro This Life" (2003). Nokturnal Mortum hanno collaborato con altri artisti del black metal ucraino, contribuendo a creare una scena musicale vibrante e originale.
