I Maxïmo Park sono un gruppo indie rock britannico formatosi a Newcastle upon Tyne nel 2000. Il gruppo è composto da Paul 'Maximum' Smith (voce), Duncan Lloyd (chitarra), Archis Tikoo (basso) e Tom English (batteria). La loro musica è caratterizzata da melodie orecchiabili, testi intelligenti e un sound energico che fonde elementi di post-punk, new wave e indie pop. Il loro album di debutto, *A State of Mind*, pubblicato nel 2005, ha riscosso un grande successo in Gran Bretagna, raggiungendo la posizione numero 3 delle classifiche. Tra i brani più noti del gruppo figurano "The National Health", "Apply Some Pressure" e "Graffiti". I Maxïmo Park hanno collaborato con artisti come Franz Ferdinand e The Killers e sono considerati uno dei gruppi indie rock più influenti degli anni 2000.
