Mortiis, pseudonimo di Håvard Ellefsen, è un musicista norvegese attivo dal 1989. Inizialmente noto per il suo lavoro con la band black metal Emperor, Mortiis ha intrapreso una carriera solista nel 1994, esplorando generi come l'industrial, l'elettronica e il gothic rock. Il suo stile musicale è caratterizzato da atmosfere cupe, melodie sinfoniche e testi introspettivi che affrontano temi di morte, spiritualità e isolamento.
