Villagers è il progetto musicale del cantautore irlandese Conor J. O'Brien, nato a Dublino nel 1983. Il suo sound si caratterizza per un mix di folk, indie rock e atmosfere barocche, con testi introspettivi e melodie avvolgenti. Il gruppo, formatosi nel 2008, ha pubblicato sei album in studio: "Becoming a Jackal" (2013), "The Art of Pretending to Swim" (2015), "Darling Arithmetic" (2019), "Fever Dreams" (2021) e "Clinging to a Scheme" (2023). Tra i brani più noti di Villagers figurano "Becoming a Jackal", "Hot Desks", "The Reeling" e "I'm Not Leaving". O'Brien è noto per le sue performance dal vivo intense e coinvolgenti, che hanno portato il gruppo a esibirsi in festival internazionali come Glastonbury e Coachella.
