Pennywise è una band di punk rock americana proveniente da Hermosa Beach, in California. Formatasi nel 1988, il nome della band deriva dal mostro 'It' del romanzo di Stephen King omonimo. Considerati uno dei gruppi più influenti del movimento ska-punk degli anni '90, Pennywise ha pubblicato una serie di album di successo, tra cui "About Time" (1991), "Up Against It" (1993) e "Full Throttle" (1995). Il loro sound caratteristico combina energia punk con melodie ska orecchiabili e testi spesso incentrati su temi sociali e politici.
