Sabbat è un gruppo musicale inglese di doom metal, attivo dal 1987. Considerati uno dei pionieri del genere, hanno influenzato numerose band successive con il loro sound oscuro e pesante, caratterizzato da riff lenti e distorti, atmosfere cupe e testi apocalittici. Il nome del gruppo deriva da un'antica divinità pagana associata alla morte e al sacrificio. Sabbat ha pubblicato numerosi album in studio, tra cui "The Witches Sabbath" (1987), "History of the World Part II" (1990) e "Blood on the Altar" (1993). Tra i brani più rappresentativi si ricordano "Black Magic", "Witchcraft" e "Satan's Blood".
