Gideon è un cantautore olandese, figlio del noto musicista e compositore Peter van Elderen, meglio conosciuto con lo pseudonimo di Spinvis. Nato nel 1987, Gideon ha ereditato la passione per la musica dal padre, iniziando a comporre canzoni fin da giovane. Il suo stile musicale è un mix di indie folk, rock alternativo e pop, caratterizzato da melodie orecchiabili e testi introspettivi.
