Alabama è una band country americana formatasi nel 1969 con il nome originale di Young Country. Dopo aver cambiato nome, hanno raggiunto un grande successo negli anni '80 con una serie di album di platino e numerosi singoli di successo. Originari dell'Alabama, la band è composta da Randy Owen (voce), Teddy Gentry (basso) e Jeff Cook (chitarra). Il loro sound country tradizionale, caratterizzato da melodie orecchiabili e testi che raccontano storie di vita quotidiana, ha conquistato un vasto pubblico in tutto il mondo. Tra i loro brani più famosi figurano "Mountain Music", "If You're Gonna Play in Texas", "Tennessee River" e "Roll On".
