Lil Skies, pseudonimo di Kimetrius Foose, è un rapper statunitense nato nel 1998 a Fort Wayne, Indiana. Ha iniziato la sua carriera musicale all'età di 16 anni pubblicando mixtape e singoli su SoundCloud. Nel 2018 ha firmato con l'etichetta discografica Atlantic Records e ha pubblicato il suo album di debutto, *Life of a Dark Rose*, che ha raggiunto la posizione numero 10 della Billboard 200. Lil Skies è noto per il suo stile rap melodico e le sue rime introspettive. I suoi brani più popolari includono "Red Roses", "Nowadays" e "Lust". Il suo sound, influenzato dal trap e dall'hip hop alternativo, ha contribuito a definire l'estetica musicale della nuova generazione di rapper statunitensi.
