Nato nel 1975 a New Orleans, Louisiana, ha raggiunto la fama negli anni 2000 come DJ e produttore per artisti hip-hop di spicco. È noto per il suo stile energico e le sue frasi motivazionali spesso ripetute nei suoi brani. Khaled è anche un imprenditore di successo con diverse linee di prodotti e collaborazioni commerciali.
