Masta Ace, pseudonimo di Duval Clear, è un rapper statunitense nato a Brooklyn, New York, nel 1968. Considerato uno dei pionieri del rap underground, Masta Ace ha raggiunto la notorietà negli anni '90 con album come "Disposable Arts" (1993) e "Sittin' on Chrome" (1995). Il suo stile è caratterizzato da rime intricate, testi intelligenti e un flusso di coscienza unico. Masta Ace è noto per aver collaborato con artisti come Rakim, Kool G Rap e Grand Puba.
