The Used sono una band post-hardcore americana formatasi ad Orem, Utah, nel 2001. Il gruppo è composto da Bert McCracken (voce), Jeph Howard (chitarra), Quinn Allman (basso) e Branden Steineckert (batteria). Conosciuti per il loro sound emotivo e aggressivo, caratterizzato da riff di chitarra distorti, testi introspettivi e la potente voce di McCracken, The Used hanno raggiunto un grande successo negli anni 2000. Il loro album di debutto omonimo (2004) ha venduto milioni di copie in tutto il mondo, con singoli come "The Taste of Ink" e "Maybe Memories" che sono diventati dei veri e propri inni del genere post-hardcore. Nel corso della loro carriera, The Used hanno pubblicato otto album in studio, collaborando con produttori come Rick Rubin e John Feldmann. Il gruppo è noto per la sua energia live e i concerti spesso caratterizzati da un'atmosfera intensa e coinvolgente.
