Hold my head under your water
If I come up for air you'll torture
And hold me closer, Holy Father
If I come up for air you'll torture me
Too many people judge, not too many keeping up
I try to sleep but the grim reaper just keep me up
So I still slippin' deeper and deeper, follow the leader
My heart is not on the meter, I'm breathing but it's not beating
Somehow I'm bobbing and weaving and ending up undefeated
I'm never in front of demons, this music is my adhesive
I'm looking at all these kids and I'm hoping that I can reach 'em
I trusted a couple people that cut me up into pieces
Can never deceive the evil, he knows when you try'na beat him
Go toe to toe with my heater in my hand
Push the barrel to my skull
Pull the trigger not knowing which way to go
Fuck that, I stay humble and broke, no FOMO
Yeah, six figures on the deal, what you call that?
Six whips with different wheels and they all black
Nationwide tours, waiting on the call back
I started independent, then I had to call Trav
Hold my head under your water
If I come up for air you'll torture
And hold me closer, Holy Father
If I come up for air you'll torture me
Yeah, let me get my cape on, I can fly you to New York
There's the Empire State Building and Sutphin Boulevard
Just be weary of the people 'cause the people are the problem
Don't look them straight in the eye or they'll take you for your ride
Let me fly down to Brooklyn, [?] do or die
That's the birthplace of Biggie and the homie JAY-Z
JAY-Z, that's the reason Kanye make beats
Kanye, that's the reason Big Sean still eats
And Mobb Deep got you feeling like you shook son, shook one
I caught him slipping, hit 'em with a left hook once
They used to hate and now they calling me to book some
I ain't talking 'bout it unless we talking 'bout thousands
I'm talking 'bout houses you talkin' 'bout how many Jordans you got
I been recording a lot
Let's throw it all in a pot
'Till it all falls into place
I'll give it all that I got
I think I got it from here
You have been ordered to stop
Hold my head under your water
If I come up for air you'll torture
And hold me closer, Holy Father
If I come up for air you'll torture me
Yeah, I feel like I'm underwater
Woke up feeling unimportant
They don't like the shit that I been making
Make a hundred more
And I am not no connoisseur, I'm kinda sore to torture
Not abiding by the law until I end up on the Forbes list
Stick a cork in all that horseshit you been talking
Just protecting my endorphins
Hold my breath and let this water make me nauseous
At this point you'd think I'd forfeit but I've never ever softened
If every step is a conscious decision just make an office
Nothing short of extortion the way they holding me under
I made it through all the storm, somehow I stole all the thunder
And whoever put up the funds, they just keep running up the numbers
For every dollar we spend, I'ma bring it back a hundred
Yeah, six figures on the deal, what you call that?
Six whips with different wheels and they all black
Nationwide tours, waiting on the call back
I started independent, then I had to call Trav
