Rhapsody of Fire (precedentemente noti come Thundercross e, precedentemente, Rhapsody) è una band italiana di power metal sinfonico guidata da Luca Turilli e Alex Staropoli. Fondata nel 1993, la band ha pubblicato otto album in studio, un album dal vivo, un EP e un DVD dal vivo. Il loro stile musicale si caratterizza per l'utilizzo di orchestrali, cori e melodie epiche, spesso ispirati a temi fantasy e mitologici. Tra i brani più rappresentativi figurano "Emerald Sword", "Lamento Ergo Sum" e "Power of the Dragon Flame". Tra gli album più importanti ricordiamo "Symphony of Enchanted Lands" (1998) e "Dawn of Victory" (2000). Nel 2011, Luca Turilli ha lasciato il gruppo per intraprendere un percorso musicale solista. Alex Staropoli continua a guidare Rhapsody of Fire con nuovi membri.
Nella terza edizione di "Nuova Scena", talent dedicato al mondo rap in onda su Netflix, si sono aggiudicati la vittoria i cosentini Flextony e Tigerplug.

Nel 2023, oltre il 70% delle canzoni entrate nella Billboard Hot 100 aveva avuto un'origine virale su piattaforme social prima di ricevere attenzione radiofonica.
Il 28 aprile 1986 la cantante Graziella Franchini, in arte Lolita, veniva ritrovata esanime e sfigurata nella camera del residence di Lamezia Terme in cui viveva ormai da un pò di tempo. L'omicidio è rimasto privo di colpevoli.

L'inno di Mameli cantato da Laura Pausini in occasione dei Giochi Olimpici Invernali non smette di far discutere. Non è un caso isolato.
E' prevista per la prossima estate l'uscita del docufilm "Iron Maiden's Lost Singer", che riguarda Paul Di'Anno, cantante degli Iron Maiden dal 1978 al 1981, che è venuto a mancare a fine 2024.
