Dark Funeral è una band di black metal proveniente da Stoccolma, Svezia. Considerati uno dei gruppi emersi durante la seconda ondata del black metal svedese, hanno contribuito a definire il suono e l'estetica del genere negli anni '90. Il loro stile musicale è caratterizzato da sonorità veloci, aggressive e atmosferiche, con influenze dal death metal e dall'heavy metal classico. Tra i brani più rappresentativi si ricordano "The Secrets of the Black Arts", "Unholy Trinity" e "Where Shadows Forever Reign".
