Hanker è un gruppo musicale canadese formatosi nel 1985. Il loro sound si colloca nell'ambito del progressive rock con influenze hard rock e metal. Tra i membri più noti figurano Pascal Cliche, Patrick Gravel e Laurent Imbeau. La band ha pubblicato diversi album tra cui "In Our World Revisited", "The Dead Ringer", "In Our World", "Snakes and ladders" e "Web of Faith". Hanker è stata una formazione attiva fino agli anni '90, lasciando un segno significativo nella scena musicale canadese del progressive rock.
