Dead Poetic è una band post-hardcore proveniente da Dayton, Ohio. Attiva dal 2001 al 2008, ha pubblicato tre album per l'etichetta Tooth and Nail Records: *The Dead Poets Society* (2003), *Apathy and the Art of Dying* (2005) e *Vices* (2006). Quest'ultimo, uscito a Halloween del 2006, presenta contributi vocali di Chino Moreno dei Deftones. Nel 2007 è stato pubblicato il loro album raccolta *The Finest*. Dopo la pubblicazione dell'album, la band ha annunciato una pausa e l'etichetta Tooth and Nail Records li ha lasciati andare.
