Apostasy è una band di black metal svedese formatasi nel 2000. Attiva fino al 2013, il gruppo ha pubblicato tre album in studio: "The Unholy Trinity" (2004), "A Shadow of the Past" (2006) e "In the Name of God" (2009). Apostasy è nota per il suo sound crudo e aggressivo, influenzato dal black metal classico degli anni '90. Il gruppo ha collaborato con altri artisti del genere, come Dark Funeral e Marduk. Tra i brani più rappresentativi si possono citare "The Unholy Trinity", "A Shadow of the Past" e "In the Name of God".
