I Brand New Heavies sono una band britannica di acid jazz e funk, attiva dal 1989. Il loro sound è caratterizzato da groove funky, melodie orecchiabili e influenze soul e R and B. Il gruppo ha raggiunto il successo internazionale negli anni '90 con album come "Brother's Gonna Brother" (1992) e "Heavy Rhyme Experience Vol. 1" (1994). Tra i loro brani più famosi figurano "Dreams", "Never Stop", e "You've Got Me Feeling Good". I Brand New Heavies hanno collaborato con numerosi artisti, tra cui Siedah Garrett, Chaka Khan e Neneh Cherry. La band ha continuato a registrare e esibirsi fino ad oggi, mantenendo un seguito fedele di fan in tutto il mondo.
