Gloryhammer è un gruppo musicale power metal anglo-svizzero formatosi nel 2013. Il progetto è nato dall'idea di Christopher Bowes, tastierista e cantante degli Alestorm, che ha concepito una band con un concept epico e fantastico. Bowes si assume il ruolo di compositore principale e cantante, mentre i membri della band assumono pseudonimi e costumi per interpretare personaggi di una storia ambientata in epoche e luoghi diversi. I dischi dei Gloryhammer sono come capitoli di un'opera narrativa complessa, ricca di riferimenti a mitologia, fantasy e sci-fi. La musica è caratterizzata da riff veloci, melodie orecchiabili e testi che raccontano avventure epiche, spesso con un tocco di umorismo. Tra i brani più rappresentativi si ricordano "Angus McFife", "The Unicorn Invasion of Dundee" e "Master of the Universe". L'album di debutto "Tales from the Kingdom of Fife" (2013) ha segnato l'inizio di un percorso musicale originale e apprezzato da una crescente fanbase.
